About Angela

Angela Rush is a wife, mother, and grandmother. She currently resides in Burkesville, Kentucky. Angela was born the youngest of five children and raised by her mother in rural South-Central Kentucky. Angela and her husband Johnny both lived in the same small town growing up, the perfect setting for a life-long romance. They married in the year of 1989 and now have three beautiful grown children and two sweet grandchildren. Family means everything to Angela. Johnny is a self-employed fishing guide on the Cumberland River and Dale Hollow Lake. Together they own a small farm with cows, goats, and chickens.

Angela became a registered nurse in 1998 and worked intensive care and emergency room most of her career. She obtained her Master’s degree and post-graduate certificate with board certification in Family Practice. She worked in a rural health clinic and critical care access hospital for five years as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She is currently working in a pain management clinic as a Nurse Practitioner. Being in the healthcare field while also raising a family brought her a lot of unique experiences, fueling her mind as an author.

Angela began writing in the Spring of 2019. Her first novel, Charlotte, was released on Amazon in September of 2019 in cooperation with Aces Press. This launched her book series, Finding His Destiny. The genre of her series is Military Romance. Angela tells the stories of Marine Special Forces soldiers and how they find their soulmates through the chaos of combat and life.

In her free time, you will find Angela spending time with her family and reading all types of books. She also enjoys various crafts, listening to 80’s music, and enjoying life out on the water through swimming and fishing.
